Training Resources For Your Patients

To help make sure joining a call is easy for your clients, we’ve created a few resources you can pass along!

To begin an Online Appointment, your clients can click the link found inside their Appointment reminder email, or they can log in to their Jane My Account area, and then click the blue Begin button next to their appointment to join the video call.

3. Test My Setup

Patients can test to confirm their camera and microphone are working for the video call before their appointment begins.

We recommend including some custom language in a few of your emails to ensure your clients have set up a username and password for their My Account, as well as making sure they log in to the My Account area prior to the session to test their set up.

Customizing your Welcome Email

To do this, head over to Settings > Language. You’ll find a number of items you can customize here.

We recommend adding language to:

  • Welcome Email: Intro

Adding Custom Language & Video Links:

You will be given an area to enter the new text for the email and then see a preview of how it looks below.

You can also add in some fancy formatting - check out the cheat sheet just below the text boxes (click & expand “View formatting instructions”) to learn the code.

You’re welcome to use the language below, some variation of it, or your own language, entirely.

If we will be meeting for an online appointment, you will receive an email 30 minutes prior to your appointment with a link to begin. You can also sign in to your patient account and tap Begin. 💻
